House rules

1. Van der Valk Hotel Breda has expressed in a number of house rules what is expected from visitors within Van der Valk Hotel Breda and what you may expect from us. When entering this property, the house rules of Van der Valk Hotel Breda apply and you agree to the house rules as stated below.
2. All instructions given by employees of Van der Valk Hotel Breda, related to the house rules, are to be followed immediately.
3. Within Van der Valk Hotel Breda we appreciate your use of the public areas. However, this is done at your own risk.
4. At Van der Valk Hotel Breda we treat each other with respect and therefore it is forbidden to make insults or discriminating remarks.

6. At Van der Valk Hotel Breda we treat each other with respect, it is therefore forbidden by word or gesture (action), to sexually intimidate our employees.
7. Van der Valk Hotel Breda has to comply with the requirements of the alcohol and catering legislation. We therefore do not serve alcoholic beverages to visitors under the age of 18. When in doubt about the age of a visitor, employees of Van der Valk Hotel Breda will ask you to show proof of identity.
8. In order not to negatively influence the atmosphere during the stay, no alcohol will be served to the person in question if drunkenness is suspected.
9. Smoking is prohibited in Van der Valk Hotel Breda.
10. During your presence, you will make use of property belonging to Van der Valk Hotel Breda and third parties. It is forbidden to commit theft and vandalism.
11. In order to guard the peace, order and safety within Van der Valk Hotel Breda, it is forbidden to use or threaten violence.
12. In order to offer you, your family, friends and acquaintances a pleasant stay, it is forbidden to possess, use or trade drugs or weapons. This includes the use of whipped nitrous oxide cartridges.
13. Van der Valk Hotel Breda does not make its location available for purposes other than those set out in our policy. It is therefore forbidden to trade in or steal goods.
14. Rooms and public areas may not be used for business purposes.
15. The employees of Van der Valk Hotel Breda watch over your safety, in case of calamities the emergency plan will be activated. You are kindly yet urgently requested to follow any instructions given by the staff.
16. In Van der Valk Hotel Breda the use of the emergency doors is only allowed in the event of an emergency.
17. Do not leave your belongings on the premises of Van der Valk Hotel Breda and in your car unattended. Van der Valk Hotel Breda is not liable for loss, damage or theft of your property. Parking both in the car park and in the vicinity of Van der Valk Hotel Breda is at your own risk. You are to park your car in the designated parking spaces.
18. Van der Valk Hotel Breda maintains a retention period of 1 month for lost property.
19. During the check-in all guests are obliged to identify themselves.
20. During your stay at Van der Valk Hotel Breda, receiving multiple guests in your room without registering at the reception is not allowed and will lead to immediate removal from the hotel.
21. Having dogs or other pets in your room at Van der Valk Hotel Breda without consultation with the reception is not allowed. We will charge an additional cleaning fee for this. Violating the house rules or not following instructions may lead to a warning or denial of access to the public areas of Hotel Princeville Breda. Offences will always be reported to the police.
